BAPD officer recognized for heroic life-saving measures twice in one month

A Blue Ash Police Officer is recognized for heroic life-saving measures for the second time in a month. 

Officer Ken Schrand administered Narcan to a person who had overdosed in separate incidents on April 24 and May 27. The action saved the lives of the individuals involved. He received the Blue Ash Police Department's “Life Saver Recognition” award on May 4 and on May 27.

The Blue Ash Police Department is also recognizing Officer Chady Chahine for saving a life with Narcan on May 6.

The “Life Saver Recognition” award recognizes officers who perform above and beyond the call of duty to promote the sanctity of life philosophy.
