Blue Ash Police and Target team up for Heroes and Helpers

The Blue Ash Police Department and Target made the holidays much brighter for local children at the annual Heroes and Helpers event yesterday evening.

Seventeen children were able to shop for presents for themselves and their families, craft personalized ornaments, and make friends with officers.

Funding for the event is provided by Target and the Blue Ash Police Association.  The children and families were nominated by the schools.

Shoppers donated an additional $632 during the event – the most ever raised!  The donations will go toward next year’s Heroes and Helpers.
