Fall leaf pick-up: dos and don’ts

Fall leaf pick-up is underway in Blue Ash and you can help crews complete the job quickly and safely by following a few simple steps.

• DO make sure your leaves are raked to the curb in a line so that the machine can collect them (pic 1)
• DO rake leaves to the curb but allow for space on the sidewalk for pedestrians (pic 2)
• DON’T rake leaves into a wide pile that stretches far into your lawn (pic 3)
• DON’T place sticks or other yard waste into the leaf piles. The leaf vacuum machine cannot handle sticks, brush, or trimmings.
