Zagster bike-share discontinues service in Blue Ash

(May 29, 2020 - Blue Ash)

Zagster has announced it will no longer offer service in the City of Blue Ash.

In a letter to City Administration, the bike-share company said the move was necessary due to COVID-19’s impact on its business.

“It is with heavy hearts that we must inform you that Zagster will no longer be providing bike-share services in your community. This was a difficult decision but a necessary one, for which we are truly sorry,” the company’s letter stated.

Zagster will be informing members directly of the situation and will be removing bikes and racks in the coming weeks.

“The City is disappointed to see this happen, but it is understandable given the current pandemic,” said Blue Ash Assistant City Manager Kelly Harrington. “Zagster was a unique amenity in the suburbs and we are sorry to see the bike-share company leave Blue Ash.”

Zagster is planning to release more information on their website soon: www.zagster.com

Zagster service was launched in Blue Ash in June of 2018.
