The 98-acres next to Summit Park will become a mixed-use development called “The Neighborhoods of Summit Park.” The project includes single and multi-family residential, office space, commercial space, hotels, and other infrastructure. Developer Al.Neyer closed on the former airport runway parcel in May 2017. The most up-to-date information about the development will be located on their website.

 Goals for the plan include:

  • Leverage the value of Summit Park
  • Create a diverse mix of uses with shared infrastructure
  • Create a walkable/bikeable street network
  • Provide multiple ways to get around
  • Establish a sufficient critical mass of residents
  • Connect to surrounding development areas and the City

The development has been divided into the following four sections:

The District:
A vibrant mixed-use center with a strong employment focus.

Carver Woods:
An existing office park with space for additional Class A offices, restaurants and retail, and a connection between the Reed Hardman Highway & Summit Park

Parkside:
A mix of residential, office, senior living, and supportive retail.

The Daventry:
A timeless residential neighborhood boasting views of Summit Park and the Blue Ash Golf Course

The first phase of the project, the Daventry, will be the construction of 104 single-family homes on 33 acres of the property.  M/I Homes will be the homebuilder for the project.  The plans will include a wide variety of home styles to make the neighborhood look and feel unique. The homes, which will range between about 3,300- 4,800 square feet, will be within walking distance of the park and all of its amenities.

The details of the additional plans on the 98-acre property are still going through the approval process.
